Wiggins Lift is the world leader in boat-handling for dry-stack marina storage and produce material handling machines for military applications, designed for full operation in heavy seas on board the US Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship.
Our machines provide unique solutions for mining organizations, construction and material-handling applications, and agricultural enterprises.
Customers include government agencies, such as the Atomic Energy of Canada and the USA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
We also manufacture and repair hydraulic cylinders for a wide variety of applications, such as for the massive lighting towers for outdoor entertainment.
Company Profile.
In the late 1950’s, on the fertile Oxnard Plain in California, Mel Wiggins had an idea for a machine which would increase the efficiency of agricultural companies and the workers. His innovation, focus on the customers’ needs, and the quality of production made his idea successful. Wiggins Lift Company was born. Building upon those ideas, Wiggins did the same for the construction industry. Within a few decades, the expanded into other areas and became a global supplier of high-capacity material-handling machines
